Eagle Crest Highlights
Sword fighing with catails on the back deck (Alysun napping in the foreground)
Several trips to the playground. This, in Nathaniel's words, is a "wee." The slide is also a "wee."
The reason this picture is funny looking is because it was taken through the window. The rest of us went out for a walk while Grandpa stayed in so the babies could nap. We came home to this. And Die Hard on the TV. Apparently Nathaniel insisted.
More walking. We also squeezed in trips to the pool. Benton has decided the water's fine, and Nathaniel thinks he knows how to swim already. It took him several mouthfuls of pool water to be convinced otherwise. We even made it into Bend for a quick run through the outlets and REI. It was a lovely time. I have already forgotten about the kids waking up in the middle of the night and not taking their normal naps during the day.
We packed up and headed home right after naps on Wednesday so we could make it home in time for Benton to go to Cubbies, practicing his verse all the way home.

It really was a lot of fun. I've forgotten about the binge eating that made me gain 3 pounds and the baby who needed milk all night long. I don't remember a thing, except fun, fun, fun.
Sounds like you guys had a great time together!
