Paul went to Boston to represent the local branch of the NALC at the National Convention. Also to try and pass a referendum allowing the kilt as an option for the postal uniform. Utilikilts provided he and a couple other guys with prototypes for the event. They got tons of press: see them in the Boston Globe , the Seattle Times, and USA Today. One of the guys was interviewed on NPR for their All Things Considered program and they apeared on
Fox news on a spot that aired nationally. Wow.
The referendum didn't pass, but they'll be trying again in two years in Anaheim.

And a lovely photo of a former presidential candidate, snapped just after shaking Paul's hand.

Was he wearing the kilt when Hillary approached him?
She looks to be swooning...
Since Lamar and I've never met Paul, we didn't realize that he was a fellow letter carrier! Lamar has two more years till he's eligible to retire...ha! He was telling me about the kilt thing. This is so funny! Nice and breezy, I'm sure!
You have quite the unique husband, but it sounds like you don't have the only unique kilt wearing husband that has gone postal. I know it is a groaner joke.
