We left so abruptly, some of you may not have known we had gone. It happened like this. We planned on a trip to Mexico in October to celebrate our 10 year anniversary (in June) and Paul's 40th birthday (in October). We planned on using our tax return to get there. Then the tax return turned up in our bank account and I wandered over to travelocity.com. The rest is history-already.

We spent 7 glorious days in Hawaii while the boys spent 7 blissful days (for them) with Grandma and Grandpa.

We came home to discover our computer caught a virus and will have to be sent back to the dark ages to be restored. Why didn't I learn from Laila and back up my pictures? (Paul thinks we should be able to retrieve them). Why didn't I listen to Alysun and get a Mac?

We are now using the old computer-the one with the sweet spot on the space bar. You have to tap it with exactly the right pressure (index finger works best) in exactly the right spot (the first 1/4 of the bar) or all your words run together. And sometimes they do anyway. Needles to say, I am irritated.

For this reason, I am offering you a preview of the Hawaii pictures. They are at least safe--still on the camera at the time of the crash--but I don't like this computer. That's the bottom line. I'll probably get antsy and post a few more soon.
