On Turning Three

All I can say is, "AHHHHHHH! How did this happen?! Where has my baby boy gone?!" Benton is a little boy now, no more baby about him--no matter what he'd like you to believe when he feels his little brother is getting too much attention. Today, he fell off a chair in the kitchen and landed on his noggin. "Mommy, sing me a song to make it better." "OK, bud. Which song?" "ABCs." It took a couple of rounds before he said, "Thank you, Mommy. That worked." We had birthday cake with our Sunday night group Sunday night (hmm), and will have dinner at Red Robin with the Lunde family tomorrow. Monday we'll get together with the Ewerts and be all partied out until next year. I'll post more tomorrow including a very fitting tribute to Bob the Builder. Right now, he is re-arranging my book shelf. I remember my mom getting after me for pushing the books all the way back in the shelf when I was a kid. It just didn't make sense to me to have all that wasted space behind the books. Guess what he's doing? Shoving all the books back as far as they'll go. Some things never change--on the culprit.

Somehow I missed this,of course I didn't check it the whole time we were in OR, and apparently a while before we left, I saw muck and the cake, but I missed the great growing up shots! Such a handsome dude!
